I've never used the platform before and was under the impression I could dispute a project if the work was not completed to my satisfaction. It is clear this freelancer had no intention of completing the project the way I wanted and did not initiate contact through the platform itself. I was reimbursed only for the last week's payment, though I received no value at all from the contract.

Often went days without answering emails, gave no notice when he went over budget and missed the deadline, and delivered a useless product that did not match the project description a week late. I ended the contract and was partially refunded. Will need to seek someone more competent to complete the project.
