My name is Rickey and I am an experienced AIX administrator having 10 years of solid experience in this field. During my working years I have provided technical support on the various functions of the AIX operating system. I have coordinated changes and upgrades with other groups and users, worked with data center staff on various functions and procedures. I have written and maintained scripts to automate daily and manual procedures. Successfully coordinated upgrades with various groups and users and worked closely with IBM and vendor support. I have applied AIX maintenance, coordinated changes with various groups and users. I was responsible for software development and negotiated contracts with vendors for equipment and software as needed. Provided leadership as well as hands-on technical support of AIX, installed and customized all of the software and was heavily involved with the selection, contract negotiations and project planning. Designed an electronic change management process that allowed for automated fall back of programming and job control changes. Let me also mention that I have developed a successful and collaborative working relationship with my colleagues to modify a tracking system for the AIX team to record and report all project and support activities. I have supported AIX systems in disaster recovery exercises and performed day to day system monitoring and administration of AIX systems. I am also a professional CAE engineer having a proven experience in performing system level finite element analysis on radar platforms, electronics enclosures and vehicle trailers. As a CAE programmer I have worked with multidisciplinary task forces to design and implement emergency vehicle component improvements to address part failures already in usage. I have performed linear static, non-linear static, and random vibration analysis on vehicle systems, redesigned vehicle components for performance improvement, collaborated with design and IT departments in the development of in house finite element analysis procedures. I have participated in the company level assessment of computer aided engineering software for departmental improvement. Presented analysis results to customers during concept design and product design reviews, prepared presentations, technical reports and relevant materials for safety discussions. I was a lead engineer for numerous programs, presented reports to upper management.
