Web design project

The freelancer originally estimated 10-15 hours to complete the project. 12 hours in and we were not even half way finished. I decided to stop the project there and then to cut my losses. I have to point out that communication was smooth although a little slow on a couple of occasions which is not too much of a problem. The freelancer was overall responsive, acted professionally while we worked together and the standard of work delivered was satisfactory (although it is hard to judge as we never arrived at an end product). However, I am now in a position where I have to put off getting the website done for a few months until I can allocate more budget to this which is very disappointing.
