Develop and Design an MVP as a part of Multidisplineary platform

In brief, I hired this freelancer to develop an MVP product for my startup. Prior to starting the work, I requested a proposal from her, which she submitted, outlining a delivery timeline of 6 weeks. However, after 6 weeks and billing more than 70 hours of work, she failed to deliver anything substantial, only providing a dummy design based on a template, for the sake of transparency i have to mention that in between i have asked her for a minor edit for a running landing page which she completed in 5 hrs according to the hrs track record . Additionally, without prior notice, the freelancer requested an additional two months to complete the job, along with a payment double what she had already received. I filed for a dispute and was able to secure a partial reimbursement, thanks to the support of ithire. It's worth noting that the freelancer refused to acknowledge that she submitted a proposal and avoided taking responsibility for her actions, even using a fake name. As a result of this experience, I had to hire a new team and start from scratch, wasting both time and budget. Furthermore, even during the dispute, she persistently requested another 2 months of work, displaying an irresponsible attitude.despite being offered a two-week extension and a fixed bulk payment for the extra time required, she insisted on an additional two months, billing on an hourly basis. This inflexibility further underscored her lack of commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering satisfactory work. I must stress that the issue extends beyond the missed deadline and work quality. Not only was the deadline not met, but no work whatsoever was delivered, leaving us with a non-functional website. This situation has put me in an extremely unfavorable position, as i have not received any product despite the agreed-upon terms. I was left without any notification, and only after the deadline passed did the freelancer mention needing an additional two months. It is unacceptable that it took her one and a half months to discover this, which appears to be a form of blackmail.
