Functional analyst and Code Refactoring

I am Jack. I have 9 years of experience as a functional analyst and have been specialized in code refactoring for many years. I have led research initiatives and analyses and resolutions of client issues, managed individual-participant cases to ensure timely closure and conducted appropriate trend analysis on escalations. I have reported development, creations and resolutions to meet client and internal needs, employed applications such as SQL and data-manipulation applications and tools. Constructed tests and implemented portions of business solutions through the application of appropriate software. Researched business environment and technical content. During my working years I have investigated and resolved problems with appropriate software and standard systems. Analyzed, identified and resolved technical problems. I have prepared and stored documentation for future reference. Processed administrative work for clients daily. Managed the weekly production moves to ensure all system updates were tested and signed off executed. I was responsible for improving monthly reporting by identifying client needs and executing measures to satisfy those needs. I have successfully implemented process improvements including an application deployment strategy by overseeing all production releases and ensuring they are properly packaged, supported, coordinated, and documented. Stabilized Oracle database test environment maintaining security, monitoring data integrity and implementing batch processes. I have accurately converted production data from legacy systems with detailed documentation. Accomplished this milestone by designing staging tables and stored procedures using PL/SQL to collect data and relationships from multiple legacy systems and platforms. Regarding my skills and experience in code refactoring I have improved efficiency, executable size and readablity of previously poorly-maintained code modules through code refactoring, optimization and documentation. I have solved clients' business needs locally and remotely with well-crafted software. Created new sites, apps and APIs building features and fixing defects in existing applications, refactoring code to improve maintainability, adding automated test coverage to ensure functionality is preserved. I have optimized client side, server side and database performance providing training to team members on modern application architecture, development and delivery best practices. I have configured continuous integration environments and set up building pipelines to enable continuous delivery. During my working years I have developed new features and fixed defects for public-facing and campus-community web applications. Maintained dozens of legacy applications, ranging widely in size and complexity, added test coverage and refactored legacy code, increasing confidence and decreasing cost of continued support. I have created RESTful web services to act as secure APIs between front-end applications and back-end systems. Built internal libraries and frameworks to increase efficiency and consistency across projects and applications.
