We worked with Elen to build an MVP. She helped us with building the front-end with React.js. The first week was trial and error but she then quickly grasp our working pattern and was able to use GitHub and Netlify. We finished phase one of the project within the deadline and we are now moving to phase two where we had to connect JSON data with the web application and build new features. Looking forward to continuing working with Elen!

Front end developer needed to create HTML5 (or similar) files

Elen did an excellent job in updating our old Flash files to HTML5. She went above and beyond to deliver the project, and also clarified a number of issues that arose throughout that we were not privy to. We were very thankful for her knowledge and expertise in this area that made the whole project much more seamless than we could have managed. I chose Elen from a short list of 2 European based developers because she came across well over E mail. I wanted someone who worked alone and not part of a team - because I was worried vital parts of this work could get 'lost in translation' when passed on to other members. Specifically i didn't want a 'front' person and then developers in another country - I'd had problems with this before. I rated this project as hard / risky. The algorithm has all sorts of IF/THEN type elements that could easily be misunderstood and hard to detect later. Further more it became clear that the APP would have t be dual purpose - for different types of customer depending on their origin. Elen was more than equal to the task. Presentation is great - using her own initiative, availability was WOW - always available - thousands of messages exchanged via IThire and regular E mail chats, communication - very good english and co-operation was very good - I always felt she was 'onside' and generous with her time where things needed a new approach. We went over time slightly but from the start I had said that I just wanted to get it right and time was not my priority. We are about to launch and all looks fine.
