According to study indicators, around 56 million US residents have disabilities, which triggers the market to think of new and fresh options to meet the requirements and consider how to make a website of high quality accessible also for people with disabilities.

The age of digitalization never halts thinking of new solutions to correspond to daily problems and necessities people need and creating assistive technical components for screen and text readers. So, the website accessibility software goal is to ensure user convenience for people with disabilities, so they can face no issues with communication or news following working processes which have become an unavoidable part of everyone’s life.

The website solutions to secure accessibility software lead to the determination of metrics to measure the accessibility level and modify them based on real-time user experience audits.

The primary advantages of website accessibility software include:

• Automatic monitoring and accessibility auditing for a website.

• Assists in building relevant web design to secure accessibility.

• Provides users with app tools to meet their specific needs.

• Ensures companies correspond to the accessibility regulations.

Website Accessibility for Blind

Website accessibility for blind people has been a reason for concern for a while. The issue is that websites are mostly built with colors that are unreadable for colorblind people. So, let’s imagine such situations when a colorblind person needs to write an email, surf the internet and use it for daily needs as any other person. However, the color combinations such as red, green, yellow, and blue do not allow to perceive the website's content and perceive it accurately.

So, the assistance of UX designers to consider such nuances during the design implementation phase will greatly support the needs of colorblind people.

How is it possible to meet the visibility needs of colorblind users?

• Always check color accessibility

The color readability may be easily checked and correspond to the required standards via color contrast checkers to ensure the contrast ratio fits 4:5:1 (standard text) and 3:1 (large text) guideline indicators.

• Balance color combination to the design interface

The introduction of many and various colors may seem attractive, though it creates visibility issues for color-blinded people to understand it.

• Manual font adjustment capabilities

Many people currently struggle because of the font size. So, to avoid such issues, you may provide the option of changing the font size.

Developers may also make mistakes when adapting the site:

1. Using frames (<frame> tag). The use of frames significantly complicates the structure of the site, in the future it will be difficult for people with visual impairment to find and parse the necessary information.

2. Pages without structured headings. The structure of the web page helps to quickly and easily find the necessary blocks of information. Without using headings, the text merges into one hard-to-reach canvas.

3. Site pages without description, only photos and infographics. The absence of any descriptions leads to the fact that visually impaired site visitors are unable to understand the information.

4. Text information in pictures. Screen access programs perceive text information exclusively outside of images, because the text in the pictures will simply be inaccessible to people with visual impairments.
